Taking the Challenge

It's the perfect balance of Pilates & Yoga with Cardio thrown into the mix!

The Beachbody Experience

Hi All!  This is my first ever blog and I am so excited to start sharing with you my experience with Beachbody.  I started this journey back in 2012.  I had been talking to my hair dresser about how great she looked and of course needed to know what she was doing.  She told me about this workout program called Turbo Fire offered by Beachbody.  Beachbody?  What the heck, I want a Beachbody!  She told me she was a Coach and was starting a Challenge Group in a few weeks.  The requirements were 1. Do a Beachbody Program, 2. Drink Shakeology and 3. Get involved in the Private Facebook group. Sounded easy enough.  I was in!

I joined her Challenge Group and did Turbo Fire & Shakeology.  I loved the motivation and support I got from my Coach and from the other challengers.  I never was one to be motivated by myself.  Even when I had a gym membership, I found I was only going if my friends were going to be there.  They held me accountable.  This group was the same way.  I thought about what I was eating, and made sure to do my daily workouts because I had to check in with my group.  I sure as hell wasn't going to be the only one not working out and not eating well!  Oh yea, did  I mention that I'm competitive as well?  This was exactly what I needed, and guess what, it worked!  I lost around 20lbs, and felt great!  So great, that I became a coach myself.  My next program, and first Challenge Group on my own, was Shaun T's Focus T25!



The above is my before, and after completing Turbo Fire & T25!  T25 was a different ball game.  Only 25 mins a day and super intense.  I loved every second of it.  I finally had abs!  I lost more inches then weight with T25, which was fine by me!  I went from a size 12 to a size 6.  Shopping had never been so fun!  Everything I tried on actually fit.  My challengers were doing great too.  Though I really had no idea how to run a Challenge Group, I had about 4 people (family & friends), that were willing to give it a shot!  I knew this my calling because I loved seeing these people succeed and reach their goals.  It wasn't about me, it was about making sure I did everything I could to get my challengers to reach their goals.

My challengers are what keep me motivated.  How can I motivate and Coach others if I'm not living the lifestyle, and doing the workouts myself.  Being a Beachbody Coach has completely changed my life.  I have more energy, look forward to working out daily, and love my Shakeology.  People around me are noticing a difference too, so much so, that my husband has come on board with me!  We are now a partnership doing this Beachbody thing!  



Check out my Husbands amazing results.  After doing P90X, 21 Day Fix (eating plan) & drinking Shakeology he was able to get completely shredded & toned.  He wants to help others now achieve these amazing results. See guys, Beachbody isn't just for girls!

My challenge group is starting in a few days.  I'll be doing PiYo, which is Chalene Johnson's Pilates & Yoga inspired workout.  I'll be posting daily on my blog about the workout and how it compares to others that I've done.  So check back daily to see my progress!
